At ASOT we endevour to provide you with the best possible value for money when you become a member of the Association. Established in 2000 ASOT has grown to a team of 5 to meet the day to day administration duties .   



Alec has built up considerable knowledge of the road passenger transport industry from both direct operational experience with bus and coach operators over the last 40 years and from running his own health & safety consultancy since 2001. He has developed health & safety policies, risk assessments and delivered training initiatives for many operators. Minimise Your Risk was the first centre registered to deliver driver CPC periodic training.

Alec holds Chartered Membership of both the Institute of logistics and Transport and the Institute of Safety and Health.



julia140Julia Cowell
Julia is The Association's Administrator and is the main point of contact for most Members and prospective Members. 
Julia deals with all the day to day running of The Association, except course content and materials and has many years' experience in her current role. She has previously helped with the administration and accounts for a number of small businesses.



Louise Elliott

With a background in Recruitment and a trained Human Resources Consultant, Louise has an abundance of administration and customer services experience.  

When not in the office she enjoys supporting her local football team, afternoons at the races, watching live bands and standup comedy, travelling and exploring the world and is often found working hard in the gym.

While trained as a beautician, Dianne also has office and shop experience.  As well as working for ASOT, she works part-time at a children’s nursery. 

Dianne’s 2 young children, dog, cat, chickens and peacock keep her well occupied aside from her work, and she enjoys painting and growing her own fruit and vegetables.

Susan has a wealth of experience gained from a number of posts in administrative positions at schools and colleges, besides commercial companies. Many years ago Susan was a Metropolitan Police officer!

If she’s not in at home, she usually will be out walking the dogs, which is her other occupation, a professional dog walker!
