At ASOT we endeavour to provide you with the best possible value for money when you become a member of the Association. Established in 2009 ASOT has grown to a team of 3 to meet the day to day administration duties.
Please note that we all work from home and aren’t always in the office during ‘Normal Office Hours’ . We will normally respond to e-mails within 48 hours, but when something urgent crops up Members should both telephone and e-mail to ensure we pick up issues as soon as practicable.
ALEC HORNER CMILT, CMIOSH
Alec has built up considerable knowledge of the road passenger transport industry from both direct operational experience with bus and coach operators over the last 40 years and from running his own health & safety consultancy since 2001. He has developed health & safety policies, risk assessments and delivered training initiatives for many operators. Minimise Your Risk was the first centre registered to deliver driver CPC periodic training.
Alec holds Chartered Membership of both the Institute of logistics and Transport and the Institute of Safety and Health.

Susan has a wealth of experience gained from a number of posts in administrative positions at schools and colleges, besides commercial companies. Many years ago Susan was a Metropolitan Police officer!
If she’s not in at home, she usually will be out walking the dogs, which is her other occupation, a professional dog walker!
